Girls Weekend Out

While the guys are away – the girls will play! Gather the friends and join us for a weekend of fun. Spend one day shopping and then the second day touring the wineries of the area, the historical district or the lighthouses. We will provide maps for you to use. Then come back to the cottage and spend the nights watching movies and having fun. Dinner will be provided for both nights along with a snack pack of favorite munchies. It’s a great time to watch all the “sappy” romance movies. Choose from our large selection or we will pick up 3 DVDs for you of your choice. Chalet is complete with HBO, Showtime and Cinemax

Northern Michigan Fall Color Tour Getaway
We invite you to enjoy the beauty and splendor of the great up North. It really is an artist’s pallet of colors during the season. The vivid colors are a great backdrop for the blue waters that make up the area and sunrises and sunsets are even more intensive by the splash of colors on the horizon. We have the perfect getaway planned for you:
An appetizer of fresh fruit and cheese will be waiting for you in your room when you arrive. That evening you will enjoy a relaxing dinner* at your choice of Hofbrau, Bud’s or Boone’s Long Lake Inn. The next morning you’ll enjoy a full breakfast and then head out to tour some of the counties beautiful colors. We will provide you with a picnic lunch for two to enjoy at any of the great spots during your travels. A of the local area along with some suggested color tour routes will get you on your way.

Fall color season typically begins in late September and usually lasts through the end of October, with the most spectacular display visible in early- to mid-October. The expected color season for Grand Traverse is the entire month of October. Of course, this is an "expected" time-frame; the actual timing is up to Mother Nature!
